Job Summary
TYLin's PMCM team is seeking a mid-level cost controller to support the Buffalo Sewer Authority (BSA) Capital Projects Program ((CIP) Program) for a project/program cost controls function.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
* Lead and support cost control setup at project and program levels. Sets up data structure and manages day-to-day cost updates.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of work breakdown structure (WBS), cost breakdown structure (CBS) and cost accounts. Support activities to implement applicable cost accounts coding.
* Support cost analysis, identifies and investigates project cost variances, cost forecasts and generate cash flows.
* Collect and update cost data and produces cost reports for work performed within the Program and work outside the Program but overseen by the Program.
* Track costs associated with individual projects in the CIP, incurred by various consultants and contractors within and outside BSA Capital Projects Program, and report on them.
* Manage cost change management process to track all cost changes.
* Keep track of contingencies and manage project specific contingency management practices.
* Support monthly, quarterly and semi-annual report preparations.
Minimum Requirements:
* BA/BS 4 to 6 years of relevant project controls cost management experience.
* Certification in a cost control field such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) is preferred.
* Hands-on experience working on integrated cost management software such as e-builder, Unifier, Kahua, Deltek Cobra, EcoSys.
* Knowledgeable of Cost Control principles including project funding and financial performance.
* Understands project and program level concepts and principles and able to track engineering and construction costs.
* Understands concepts and principles of scope control and change management and earned value methodology.
* Familiar with engineering and construction scopes and construction contracting methods.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $73,100- $109,700 annually for this position and local market.
