Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for renewable energy projects (Wind, Solar, BESS).
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost control and project profitability.
  • Analyze project costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
  • Prepare detailed cost plans, forecasts, and reports for project stakeholders.
  • Review contractor bids and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Monitor project expenditures to ensure alignment with budget and financial targets.
  • Support risk management strategies, assessing financial implications and providing cost solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cost management for renewable energy projects (Wind, Solar, and BESS experience is essential).
  • Strong understanding of cost estimation, financial planning, and budgeting in the energy sector.
  • Experience working with developers, contractors, and stakeholders in renewable energy.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in relevant software for cost management and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with strong communication skills to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, or a related field; certification in cost management is a plus.
