We are seeking a skilled Costume Pattern Maker to join our team at Walt Disney World!As a Costume Pattern Maker, you will play an essential role in creating magnificent costumes for our live entertainment events and theme park Character Meet and Greets. You will use your expertise in creating precise and detailed garment patterns, while paying meticulous attention to fabric type and quality standards. Using your knowledge of machinery, cutting techniques, and terminology, you will work with a variety of fabrics to create costumes that bring our beloved Characters and stories to life. This position requires working with natural and synthetic materials such as fur, foam, latex, or mylar.Work with advanced computer systems and software programs such as Excel and WordWillingness to learn and work with computer-controlled machines to cut materialsAbility to work in a physical role that involves heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, grasping, clutching, prolonged standing, and kneelingCapable of working at varying heights and lift up to 50 lbs.Strong communication skills for documentation and safety purposesFull-time roles require full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidaysTo apply for this position please follow the instructions after clicking 'Apply for this job' below.
