Consult with students, faculty, and staff around mental health issues, provide administrative and/or clinical supervision, and community outreach in support of the UVM community. Promote and support the philosophy, policies, and procedures for comprehensive university health services that incorporate equity, anti-oppression work, and social justice concepts and principles to support student wellbeing. Responsible for supporting the mission and philosophy of the Center for Health and Wellbeing, Division of Student Affairs and the University of Vermont. Provide respectful and confidential services for all students, valuing differences in race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, national origin, ability, veteran status, socioeconomic status, and age. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related discipline and one to three years related experience required. Licensed, or ability to be licensed, in Vermont as a Psychologist-Masters, Mental Health Counselor or Clinical Social Worker within two years of employment required. Experience working with college-age issues required. Demonstrated a commitment to fostering a collaborative equity and social justice focused environment required. Desirable Qualifications Training and experience in therapeutic support & racially responsive clinical services for BIPOC students. Knowledge of historic and current issues facing BIPOC students. Expertise in outreach and engagement with historically marginalized groups. Experience in clinical supervision desirable. Experience within a university setting desirable. Anticipated Pay Range $57,000 to $71,000 Other Information Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position
