This position is responsible for organizing and directing the delivery of vocational rehabilitation services in the office. The Rehabilitation Counselor Supervisor will assist the Unit Manager with work which involves planning, implementing, and evaluating the technical and administrative components of a diverse rehabilitation program consisting of multiple caseloads, third-party programs and a limited number of specialized rehabilitation programs.Job duties will include the following:* Provide direct casework supervision to Rehabilitation Counselor assisting with job development, job placement and other services needed to complete rehabilitation plans for employment for consumers.* Administrative management tasks to include casework approvals to ensure quality service delivery for the assigned coverage area, budget development and performance management/improvement.* Staff development/training, and consultation/technical assistance to subordinate staff.* Community Outreach to promote agency awareness.* Foster collaborative relationship with partner agencies and the community.* Work may include other related assignments as determined by Unit Manager.About NC Department of Health and Human Services:The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) serves the needs of the most vulnerable of North Carolinians and to accomplish this, we hire only the most dedicated and caring individuals.
