ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* The Count Team Member counts monies from bill validators (slot machines), all Table Game boxes, and non-gaming retail areas.* Sorts, counts and records contents of bill changers and 'blind drop' bags, according to set procedures.* Responsible for daily reports, minor equipment repairs and maintenance.* Ensures adherence to all departmental and company policies and procedures, all internal controls, and MS Gaming regulations.* Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:* High School diploma or equivalent (GED)* Minimum two (2) years' experience in count operationsLANGUAGE SKILLS:* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.* Ability to write simple correspondence.* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.* Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.REASONING ABILITY:* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.* Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
