Job description The Counter Sales Associate provides exceptional service and creates a positive shopping and sales experience for all customers.This position also consist ofperforming daily warehouse functions to help maintain and safe and positive work environment. The following details are not definitive and subject to change based on organizational needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain business relationships with customers
  • Conduct sales transactions
  • Recommend and promote items related to customer's product or application
  • Process customer returns efficiently
  • Assist in the warehouse when needed
  • Insuring the accuracy of all inbound freight into the building. This includes unloading trucks, checking in freight, putting the product away in its locations, and making sure that all associated paperwork is completed to company standard.
  • Outbound freight including customer orders and branch transfers are to be picked, packed, and checked for accuracy prior to shipments
  • Each employee is designated an area of the warehouse that must be maintained to company standard on a day to day basis. This includes down stocking of product, facing of material, closed boxes or cut tops, removal of excess plastic. Aisles must be swept of all debris and pallets lined in their locations
  • Must communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service
  • Ability to manage time in a deadline-driven environment and strong ability to multitask and skill in prioritizing work
  • Basic math skills are sufficient to manage inventory, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to use computer systems and manual procedures for organizing and identifying products and communicating with coworkers.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
  • Exceptional customer service skills required and a team player
  • Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
  • Familiar with dollies, pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Physical ability to lift heavy product of up to 50 lbs and utilize 6 ft ladder while carrying product
Qualification High School diploma or GED equivalent Sales or related work experience desired HVAC experience a plus Schedule Full Time Monday through Friday Shift is based on business needs Salary Expectations and Benefits Starting Rate Based on Experience Minimum starting Rate $20.00 hourly Sign On Bonus!
