Our client, a Consumer Products business, has a growing business in Europe and is looking for an ambassador in the Italian market. Must have an entrepreneurial approach within a dynamic and expanding environment. This person will oversee the development and business strategies for the Italian market. The client is seeking an engaging, connected, and communicative person who brings experience in leadership, sales, and marketing. The candidate will work closely with the senior management team to implement the overall strategy while demonstrating an understanding for the local implementation of the strategy. Must have excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Italian, goal-achieving skills, strategic thinking, market adaptability, and dynamic leadership. The client is seeking a person who is already embedded in Italy (they are not offering relocation to Italy).
Responsibilities:
- Sales and forecasting
- Serve as a contact person between customers and company teams
- Negotiate terms and establish agreements with Italian retailers (both DOM and DI)
- Develop annual business plans with clients
- Monitor day-to-day business operations
- Develop and implement growth strategies
- Research and identify opportunities for growth
- Generate reports and direct both internal and external presentations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant brand guidelines
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams
- Stay on top of industry and market trends and best practices
Qualifications:
- At least five years of experience in Commercial Management and/or Key Account Management in Italy
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or similar
- A proven track record of creating growth strategies has already improved a company's market position
- Existing strong relationships with retailers
- Previous experience working with licensors
- Marketing experience is considered an advantage
- English proficiency (advanced)
