Lebanon County Children & Youth Services is actively seeking a Casework Supervisor to round out our staff. This position is responsible for providing direct supervision and oversight to individual caseworkers within an assigned unit. Apply today to take advantage of this challenging yet rewarding position!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Casework Supervisor, you will be expected to maintain an in-depth knowledge of laws and regulations which govern child welfare services and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as agency policies and procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring all required documents are completed timely and all services are being provided to clients. Work includes reviewing and scheduling all petitions for court reviews; overseeing training and approval of new foster parents, foster home evaluations, and re-evaluations; as well as assuring foster families meet all state and federal requirements and regulations. You will have the opportunity to complete administrative tasks such as maintaining reports, statistics, data, and summaries to prepare budget. Additional responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:+ Providing orientation training for new foster parents+ Meeting with community representatives and agencies to coordinate services+ Completing training to obtain Supervisory Certification+ Reviewing caseloads and reassigning as needed+ Meeting weekly with caseworks individuallyWork Schedule and Additional Information:+ Full-time employment+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.+ You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
