* Ensures all proper paperwork is completed for given program areas.

* Inputs all program data into TAMED reporting system used to compile Legislative Budget Board report for agency funding.

* Ensures all program participation requirements are met.

* Ensures expected program results are accomplished

* Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Animal Sciences, Human Sciences, Youth Development or other Extension related field.

* 2 years of job-related experience.

* Ability to guide and supervise program volunteers, practice effective communication in complex situations, resolve conflicts in a fair and equitiable manner while adhering to standards of both Fort Bend County and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.

* Strong computer and typing skills (including Microsoft Office).

* Organizational skills.

* Verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees and elected officials.

* Flexible hours as needed/required within 40-hour work week.

STARTING SALARY RANGE: $22.51 - $28.14 hourly based on qualifications

CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
