This is a professional social service position in a County Children and Youth Agency that is tasked with fiscal operations of the agency. In this position you will be responsible for developing and managing budgets, revenues, and expenditures. Work includes accurately preparing reports, maintaining financial ledgers and journals, and other financial procedures needed for the agency. This position gives you the opportunity to utilize your experience as you provide supervision and evaluation of workers in the fiscal and clerical units of the agency. Our staff perform a variety of social service and casework duties designed to provide supportive services to children, youth, and families. We work in close cooperation with other social service agencies, hospitals, mental health facilities, police, Courts, schools, and other community resources in assisting the families. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years as a Fiscal Technician and six college credits in accounting; or
- Five years of bookkeeping experience and six college credits in accounting; or
- Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- One year of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.

Legal Requirements:
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
