Courier - Picks up and delivers specimens, reports, and supplies by prescribed schedule and route to clients and customers in compliance with universal precautions, blood born pathogen guidelines, and Department of Transportation Biological Specimen Transportation rules. - Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations. - Maintains specimen integrity and safety by appropriately storing and transporting specimens in correct storage containers and temperature so those specimens are not compromised. - Maintains vehicle in clean, neat condition, audits routine maintenance and informs supervisor of problems and needed repair of vehicle. - Adheres to all laws (such as speed limits) and safety requirements for driving.
