Under the direction of the Course Materials Manager, this position assists in all aspects of course materials management including with the processing of faculty course materials requisitions, researching availability and pricing, ordering, invoicing, preparing sales floor, shelving, selling, inventorying, and returning. Requires communication with used book vendors and publishers, faculty, and customers.This position's work schedule is typically 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday, with additional required evening and weekend hours at the beginning and end of each term.Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Demonstrated ability to work as an inclusive team player and promote a team oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate across various levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service. Demonstrated ability to perform work accurately with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a College Bookstore
- Experience working with vendors, students, and faculty
- Experience in basic accounting and working with invoices and credits
