Job Description:
Courtyard Lexington South is searching for a detail-oriented, organized, and energetic Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping department and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, back of house spaces, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service are met. You will also lead and inspire a team of housekeeping professionals, while managing daily operations, inventory, keeping an eye on the budgets. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, ensuring all hotel areas are maintained to Marriott's high standards of cleanliness
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure quality standards are met
  • Train, coach, and develop housekeeping staff to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment
  • Manage room assignments and ensure all rooms are cleaned and ready for guest arrivals on time
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping items, ensuring proper stock levels
  • Monitor labor costs and productivity to achieve budgeting goals, adjusting staffing levels as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards set forth by Marriott and Rainmaker Hospitality
  • Handle guest complaints or special requests related to housekeeping, and resolve them effectively and politely
  • Perform regular performance evaluations, and assist with the recruitment of new housekeeping members
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework or degree in hospitality preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in hotel housekeeping
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate nd manage a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff members
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, cleaning chemicals, and basic cleaning tools
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including cleaning supplies and linens
