Job Title: Cover Laminator OperatorShift: 1st shiftLocation: Clarksville, TNJostens is hiring for a Lamination Operator who will be responsible for setting up and running the lamination machine to strengthen and protect printed materials that will produced into a book or diploma cover. This operator reads and interprets job tickets and specifications, inputs correct settings, monitors equipment and troubleshoots any issues during the operation of the laminating machine. This requires following standards for productivity and quality and meeting departmental goals. Attention to detail is important as the lamination operator must understand equipment needs and perform basic maintenance on the machine. The incumbent will be required to move around the department and work/train on different equipment on an as needed basis.Qualifications:High school degree or GED required.Cover lamination operator experience preferred.Knowledge of cover lamination process and materials preferred.Must have at least 3 years of relevant production and machine operator experience.Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills.Ability to read and follow directions and work independently.Must successfully complete basic machine training within the department.Must be a team player.Good communication skills - written and verbal.Willing to work flexible hours, including shift work, and overtime with short notice.Works well under the pressure of deadlines.Must have good attention to detail and high-quality standards.Must have basic computer skills.Must have flexibility to learn and use new technology.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. to shoulder height.Excellent attendance record.Celebrating over 127 years of business, Jostens has been a part of local communities, working with K-12 schools, colleges and universities, teams and affiliation groups.
