We are currently seeking a highly qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team on a part-time basis. Full-time possible during tax season. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and small corporations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Provide expert tax advice to clients on issues ranging from deductions and credits to long-term tax planning strategies. Assist clients with payroll tax filings and sales tax compliance. Ensure that clients are meeting deadlines and following current tax laws. Prepare and review financial statements and other essential reports for clients to ensure accurate and compliant reporting. Offer strategic advice on tax planning and financial decisions, helping clients minimize their tax liability while maximizing their returns. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing personalized service and proactive solutions to their financial challenges. What We're Looking For: Active CPA certification is required. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, and consulting for both individuals and small businesses. Strong proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software (e.g., QuickBooks, Drake, Intuit ProSeries, etc.). Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. Precision is key—accuracy in tax filings and financial reports is non-negotiable. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and balance multiple client accounts simultaneously. Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay organized.
