Responsibilities: - CPA 5-10 years experience - Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses - Review financial records and documents to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations - Calculate taxes owed, prepare tax forms, and submit them to the appropriate authorities - Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely filing - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns - Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information for tax preparation - Utilize accounting software (Drake Software) to input and organize financial data Skills: - Strong math skills to accurately calculate taxes owed and deductions - Knowledge of financial sales and marketing principles to effectively communicate with clients - Proficient in 10-key typing for efficient data entry - Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients - Technical accounting knowledge to understand complex tax regulations - Familiarity with public accounting practices and procedures - Ability to work as part of a team or independently as needed - Experience using accounting software for data entry and organization Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
