Our talented staff of more than 450+ professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and construction solutions to our clients from our offices throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia and Alabama.We are seeking a full-time, Construction Quality Assurance Technician for our office North Canton, Ohio. The successful candidate will conduct Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) observation and testing services for a variety of construction projects.Key Responsibilities
  • Construction observation and documentation.
  • Field testing and sampling of soil and concrete materials.
  • Review of plans and specifications
  • Written documentation ensure projects are completed in accordance with project design drawings and technical specifications.
  • Daily communication with project management
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by client & business needs.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Flexibility to work long hours, especially during construction season.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • The ability to perform all duties within established deadlines by clients.
  • Flexibility regarding travel, including hotel accommodations relocation for extended assignments is required.
  • Reliable and effective communications skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualification
  • Associates degree in Environmental Science or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical or other related discipline.
  • Previous practical experience.
