NexGen is looking for a Craft Superintendent - Pipe to join their team in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all the activities within his craft according to project blueprints and schedule plans. Coordinating with subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks, and providing on-site direction. Make sure all OSHA guidelines are followed. Work with vendors hand-in-hand to ensure the work meets all specs.

  • Ability to monitor construction schedules and advise on potential setbacks or issues.
  • Communicates expectations and importance of safety. Follows up and ensures safety audits are completed accurately and timely. Identifies critical issues and assists in the development of improvement procedures.

What we expect (Essential Functions)

  • Manage a team of workers, including work schedule, project progress and resource allocation.
  • Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project cost.
  • Collaborate with clients, Project Management, other construction management to determine

Budget and timeline.

  • Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with venders and suppliers.
  • Create schedules for workers and subcontractors.
  • Maintain a daily log for the job sites operation, reporting to management as necessary.
  • Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
  • Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.

Specific vision abilities include accurate near and distant vision.

Frequently in a normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. May be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives and vibrations. Noise level on the job site is normally moderate to loud. Overtime will be required. Travel will be required.
