Location: Syracuse,NY, USA
Main Function of the Position:
* Ensure cranes are fully compliant with DOT and OSHA regulations
* Inspect cranes
* Perform necessary repairs to crane after diagnosing defects
* Knowledge of hydraulic, suspensions, electrical, and LMI systems
* Read, interpret, and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
* Maintain safety requirements and other regulations
* Ability to accomplish tasks without direct supervision
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
* Travel to various job sites to troubleshoot and repair cranes
* Assist with assembly and disassembly
Required Education / Certification/ License:
* Currently have and maintain satisfactory driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
* CDL License / willingness to attend dedicated training (expense provided by the company)
Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:
* Ability to lift up to 40lbs without the need for reasonable accommodations

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
