Description:
Crane Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of lattice and hydraulic crawler and RT Cranes. The ideal candidate will have a crane operator's certificate and be certified in rigging and signaling.
Responsibilities:
* Operate cranes in a safe and appropriate manner.
* Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of crane.
* Conduct pre-operational checks on crane, and clean, lubricate and refill the equipment as necessary.
* Maneuver crane into loading or unloading positions, following signals from rigging and signal person.
* Conduct tear down and set up of lattice cranes.
* Operate crane maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundings.
* Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the crane.
* Work in a safe and methodical fashion to ensure all employees are outside of the crane swing radius.
