Crane Technician

The Crane Technician is expected to implement the Navy and Marine Corps weight handling equipment program, lead Assistant Technicians, safely and independently perform general labor, perform standard mechanical repairs, perform standard electrical repairs, complete tasks up to the limits of their training certifications, and continuously learn from more experienced personnel. Crane Technicians are expected to work independently with minimal input from their supervisor to perform inspections, load tests, troubleshoot crane systems (such as, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems), conduct root cause analysis, and develop solutions options.They are expected to provide estimates for basic mechanical, electrical and structural repairs at the component level to their supervisor for review and approval. Technicians shall be able to read and understand basic electrical, mechanical, and structural drawings.$25 - $27/hour plus overtime; 10 days PTO (1st or end of probation period); 10 paid holidays; Cell phone reimbursement or company cellphone provided. $250 annual uniform allowance.Company pays 100% of all insurance premiums. (Medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD).
