Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Job Description We are seeking a skilled Shipping and Receiving professional who can operate both sit down and stand up forklifts. The role involves utilizing forklifts for 40% of the day, using hand and power tools to build shipping boxes, and cutting wood to size for packaging. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for unloading inbound materials, inventorying materials, organizing pallet racks, tagging products correctly, and using pick sheets and nail guns.
Responsibilities - Operate sit down and stand up forklifts for 40% of the day.
- Use hand and power tools to build shipping boxes.
- Measure and cut wood to size for packaging 3-4 outbound products per week.
- Unload inbound materials.
- Inventory materials and organize pallet racks.
- Properly tag products.
- Utilize pick sheets.
- Operate a nail gun.
Essential Skills - Experience with hand and power tools.
- Experience in shipping and receiving.
- Ability to use a tape measure.
- Sit-down and stand up forklift experience.
- Saw operation.
- Material handling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - International shipping experience (nice to have).
- USPS experience (nice to have).

Work Environment The work environment is a very clean job shop in a brand new facility located in Munster, IN. The facility is temperature regulated and extremely clean, with excellent lighting. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, long sleeve shirts, and PPE. Employees often work by themselves or with one other person, and are responsible for managing their own workload and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MUNSTER, Indiana.
