The CRM Commercial Real Estate Workout Officer II delivers proactive management of a substandard portfolio of 10 to 15 Commercial Real Estate loans to minimize credit losses, ensure return matches risk and, where possible, return customers to a satisfactory rating. The portfolio will be a mix of bi-lateral and syndicated loans with individual Citizens Bank exposure averaging $15MM+. The CRE Workout Officer II role includes working alongside a team leader to devise strategies, negotiate and structure transactions, obtain credit approval and document accordingly. The role includes financial analysis, property valuation assessment, analysis of market dynamics and maintaining all required internal and external reporting.
Primary responsibilities include
+ Persuasively presents the Banks thoughts and position to gain consensus and execute proposed solutions to remedy substandard and non-performing credits.
+ Proactively manages the portfolio to implement strategies aimed at minimizing credit loss and, where possible, returning credits to satisfactory status.
+ Maintains accurate charge off and non accrual forecasts and keeps pace with periodic reporting and annual reviews.
Qualifications:
+ 5+ years Commercial Real Estate bank experience
+ Workout experience preferred but not required
+ Excellent math and analytical skills.
+ Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
+ Excellent time management skills.
Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
+ Bachelor's degree required and 5 years+ of Bank experience
Hours & Work Schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 working from home
+ Hours per Week: 40
+ Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
