- Lead creative arts programs, coordinating classes in painting, writing, crafts, and more.
- Plan and organize off-campus outing trips to restaurants,cultural and educational sites, arranging tailored private tours.
- Assist in producing a monthly activities calendar and manage Make & Tech Lab classes.
- Facilitate resident Skype and telehealth appointments.
- Design promotional materials for programs and events using graphic design.
- Build relationships with venues, negotiate contracts, and manage event logistics.
- Support and co-host major community events, including talent and musical shows.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Art, Art History, Recreation, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in program coordination, creative arts facilitation, and event planning.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with cultural institutions in the metropolitan Washington DC area
- Proficiency in graphic design and technology platforms desired.
- Knowledge of DC area and cultural institutions desire
