Background:Led by racing legend Michael Andretti, the Andretti Global team fields multiple entries in INDYCAR, INDY NXT, IMSA and Formula E; and has collaborations in Extreme E as Andretti Altawkilat Extreme E and Australian Supercars as Walkinshaw Andretti United. The global racing enterprise boasts over 250 race wins, four INDYCAR Series championships, four INDY NXT titles, one Indy Pro 2000 and one USF2000 championship, a Silver Class GT4 championship, and has captured victory five times at the famed Indianapolis 500-Mile Race.Purpose of the Role:The Creative Coordinator is primarily responsible for leading and supporting the Marketing and Creative teams in a wide range of activities across Andretti's portfolio of racing programs. This position will support the team to achieve targets and business objectives.Role Dimension:You'll be based at our HQ in Indianapolis, Indiana*. You'll be reporting to the Director of Creative but need to build strong relationships with people across both the wider Competition and Commercial teams. There may be some flexibility with working hours and occasional travel required to fulfill this role effectively.Principal Accountabilities:Lead creative design development of graphic assets to be used across Andretti's social media platforms, working closely with the social and digital teams to ensure consistencyProvide conceptual ideation for creative strategy and design approachSupport the Commercial team in business development collateral, including but not limited to, conceptualized drawings, presentation templates, etc.Work alongside the creative team to develop consistency in approach and designCurate and maintain library of photography assets and tracking to provide ease of access across the companyEnsure clear and consistent branding across all applicationsManage project timelines and priorities for the creative departmentBe on the pulse of the brand and its place in the broader motorsports spaceWork closely with the Communications team to ensure branding initiatives are aligned with the marketing and brand strategySupport in the development of race week livery designsEducation and Experience:Two (2) years of related experience in an internship, agency, motorsport, or equivalent in a fast-paced role in the sports industry focused on brand and sponsor asset creation.Expert computer skills including Adobe Creative suite and Microsoft Office suite of software; and familiarity with document retention and project management software.Must demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, independence, proactiveness, and ownership; embracing both big-picture objectives and following through on details.Proven ability to solve practical problems and make timely decisions by analyzing a variety of variables against desired outcomes.High degree of integrity and the ability to operate with discretion, confidentiality, and poise under pressure.Ability to engage multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniorityPhysical Demands:The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
