Job Description:

THE ROLE: Creative Director, Full-Time. This role is hybrid, meaning you can work from home, but must also be available to work from the studio with our team in Philadelphia at times. Flexibility required for travel to photo and video shoots as well as meetings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented team of designers, art directors and copywriters. Be
  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes creativity while adhering to deadlines.
  • Creative Strategy & Concept Development: Develop and implement creative strategies that align with client objectives and brand goals. Be a strategic thinker who can transform client briefs into compelling and innovative campaigns.
  • Client Engagement & Representing the Agency: Assist the Accounts Team in confidently presenting ideas and creative strategies to clients. Effectively communicate the value and impact of creative concepts, ensuring client buy-in.
  • Technical Skill & Design Expertise: Utilize strong design skills to contribute to the development of creative concepts and executions. We are looking for a hands-on Creative Director who will support and mentor art directors across projects. Strong typography skills are essential to this role.
  • Motivated & Organized Professional Ability to self-manage and keep projects on track, ensuring adherence to deadlines and project timelines. Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Diverse Client Experience: Bring experience working with a variety of clients. Must understand the specific needs and challenges of different industries, applying this knowledge to deliver tailored creative solutions.
  • New Business Development: Play an active role in new business pitches and proposals. Bring innovative ideas to the table, showcasing SBF's capabilities to potential clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Creative Director or similar senior creative role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to sell creative concepts to clients.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and strong hands-on design and typography skills
  • Experience in developing and executing comprehensive creative strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in new business pitches and understanding of business development processes.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including writing skills so that you may clearly communicate ideas and concepts.
  • Experience working with both alc-bev and lifestyle-minded brands
  • Experience with media campaigns – everything from initial treatment to working closely with video and photo production teams to bring a vision to life.
  • Understanding of core and emerging social channels and trends
  • Familiarity with lifestyle brands and experiential concepting
  • Experience developing strong brand identities from the ground up (include examples in portfolio)
