The position: The creative director will lead a team to create engaging, on-brand visual concepts that support our clients and the organization's business objectives. In this role, the creative director guides all projects and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the creative department. Responsibilities
  • Mentor and encourage creative team members to foster a positive work environment
  • Accountable for the quality and completion of all work projects assigned to members of the creative team
  • Participate in and provide ongoing opportunities for professional development and growth to team
  • Report progress via project management resource the major stages of project conception, creation, and execution
  • Ensure designs and content reflect consistently and positively the brand image and company voice
  • Work with internal and external strategic partners to create products using the most current industry best practices
  • Serve as a liaison between the marketing and creative team and between the creative team and individual internal/external clients
  • Anticipate problems that may impede a project from completing on time and implement solutions
  • Remain actively involved in hiring and training creative staff
  • Display a high level of graphic design expertise and proficiency
  • Managing a high volume of creative service requests, traffic status to ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Responsible for the organization of all files, photos, and collateral produced or received
  • Ensure each community and company brand individuality, excitement, impact, and accuracy in all marketing materials
  • Review all creative materials before they are finalized to ensure quality control and brand standards are met
Qualifications Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills
  • Proficient in HTML
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management, Adobe
  • Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Edit & color-correct images in Photoshop
  • Prior experience working in a PC environment
Physical Requirements:
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
Work Environment:
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 3 days per week.
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
