Position Summary:
The Brand Strategy team at Penta is seeking a talented and experienced Creative Director. This role will drive creative concepting for high-impact campaigns and ensure the creative execution meets client and brand standards. Working closely with the Brand Strategy Partner, Managing Director, and Design Director, the Creative Director will oversee a talented team of creatives, directing projects from ideation through to final delivery across multiple channels. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both strategic creative direction and team leadership, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to inspire excellence within the team.
Responsibilities:
Lead the conceptualization and execution of effective creative solutions that meet client objectives, in partnership with the Design Director, Managing Director, and Partner.Oversee the development of creative concepts, often breaking down highly complex industries and situations to resonate with niche, high-value audiences (including policymakers, investors, employees, etc.).Develop targeted, multichannel campaigns that consider the following tactics and more: TV, radio, OOH, digital, paid social, events and activations, content sponsorships, podcasts.Ensure that all creative work meets client objectives and is delivered on time and within budget.Lead, mentor, and manage a team of creatives, from copywriters to designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.Present creative concepts and deliverables to clients, effectively communicating the strategic and creative rationale behind the work.Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices, and actively seek opportunities to innovate and enhance the team's creative output.Partner with internal teams, including strategy, design, and production, to ensure cohesive storytelling and brand alignment across all creative assets.Partner with Creative Operations team members to manage external vendors, such as photographers, illustrators, and production companies, to ensure the successful execution of projects.Maintain high standards for creative excellence, reviewing and approving final deliverables to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and project requirements.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.10+ years of experience in creative roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position, ideally within a creative agency or fast-paced marketing environment.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage creative teams to produce projects from concept to completion, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of impactful creative work across various channels.Excellent leadership and mentorship skills, with experience guiding junior creatives and fostering a collaborative team culture.Strong strategic vision, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling, brand-aligned creative concepts.Excellent client management skills, with experience presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.Experience working with external vendors and managing the production process for creative and content projects.Solid understanding of production processes for digital, print, and multimedia, and ability to manage teams through those processes.Salary Range:
The base salary range for this position will be $150,000 - $175,000 depending on a candidate's experience and qualifications as they relate to the position.
