- Creative Music Strategy is a full-service music-focused group that handles Music Supervision, Music Licensing, Music Strategy, and Music Operations within Paramount. They work closely with our content creators to create the sound of our shows and with labels, publishers, artists, composers, and songwriters to amplify the music featured in our content.
- Production Clearances and Licensing Operation (PCLO) department works closely with various client groups, including Production, Ad Sales, Talent, Digital, Promo, BALA, PCR, and Original Programming departments. The PCLO team identifies and operates on clearances and licensing operations challenges related to a variety of company wide executions/projects/programming/promos etc. and helps create solutions to such challenges. We also negotiate and draft various agreements (including, without limitation, license agreements, vendor payments, materials releases agreements, etc.) for the above referenced client groups.
- Standards & Practices (S&P) oversees content for network broadcast, all original P+ content, live and filmed content, advertising, and special programming, ensuring it meets our company standards and policy. The divisions works closely with all areas of the entertainment division and various production companies to ensure that FCC regulations, Network policy, and Streaming compliance are met. The S&P teams identify indecency and obscenity concerns, ad sales concerns, and legal concerns related to scripted and un-scripted content for both P+, Cable, and CBS Network broadcast. They review and approve all content that has the potential to air on our airwaves both linear and non-linear.
Eligibility: - Internships are available to students who will be Juniors, Seniors or Master's students in the fall of 2025. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities closer to your graduation date.
- You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
- Interns will be required to work hybrid or fully on-site for the duration of the program.
- Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
- Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
