Job DescriptionThe Credential Trainer (CT) is responsible for training end-users on the H2O Electronic Health Record and other applications & devices training in accordance with the curriculum developed by the Instructional Designers/Principal Trainers (ID/PT) for its implementation and on-going training needs. The FCT participates in webex training, formal classroom education delivery, informal one-to-one training sessions, study halls, Bomgar and on-site at-the-elbow support. The FCT is responsible for adjusting lesson plans based on the direction from the Instructional Designer to the changing needs of the training environment and other related reasons. The FCT candidate must successfully attain credentialing in the respective application(s).
Duties & Responsibilities- Report to Applications Learning Leadership & the Instructional Designer regarding all training pertinent facets of the application
- Learn the application module functionality with proficiency to teach end users how to use the system
- Fully immerse and learn the end-user work flows to best facilitate the learning experience of end-users
- Identify potential training gaps/issues and work with the Instructional Designer/Principal Trainer or other training team members to resolve and/or mitigate
- Update and maintain all necessary training materials including but not limited to lesson plans, parking lot items, SharePoint, tip sheets, and e-learnings
- Document questions on the parking lot and actively manage the integrity of the parking lot
- Monitor student enrollment; track and manage attendance in training classes, and responses to the class survey
- Communicate to the Instructional Designer of opportunities and actively engage in classroom and professional feedback
- Participate in Applications Learning training priorities as needed
Minimum Qualifications1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Psychology, Personnel Administration, Business Administration, Management or related discipline; and 2. One year of experience in employee development and training programs in a health care facility, business, educational, governmental organization or other fields related to training, development and analysis, or training in implementation of operational or management systems; and 3. Knowledge of the principles of training, psychology of learning, applications and the ability to instruct and motivate; and 4. Ability to communicate orally and relate to others; and 5. Proficient writing and research skills; or 6. A satisfactory combination of education, training and experience indicating the ability to perform satisfactorily.
Department PreferencesKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Requirements:
- Knowledge of IT development, implementation and training of systems
- Experience delivering a combination of classroom, on line, and one-on-one training
- Previous Health Care experience/ Epic Credentialing is preferred
- Must complete required e-learnings and pass Credentialing test and Presentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Participate in special projects as needed and perform other duties as assigned
- Provide on-site support as needed
- Strong verbal communication, public speaking and technical presentation skills
- Experience in adult education
- Must be able to work independently as well as work as part of a fast-moving team
- Must be able to work at various locations, when necessary, along with working various shifts
Years of Experience:
