Join us and let's Imagine a better way together.Position Summary:The Credit Analyst protects the financial assets of the company and will use authority to investigate granting credit, and collection activity within a portfolio of accounts. The position includes the accountabilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Credit Administration
  • Manage incoming credit requests by investigating credit worthiness; assign credit limits within established approval limits.
  • Prepare customer credit overview with recommendations for credit limits exceeding approval level for Credit Manager.
  • Responsible for setting up new accounts in collaboration with Sales' partner requests in various ERP systems and maintain the integrity of the customer related master data.
  • Maximize revenue by the timely review of accounts and resolve any holds, payment, or credit limit issues to release credit orders.
  • Perform account reconciliation and identify issues and research to conduct accurate customer communication and collection efforts of delinquent accounts in assigned portfolio.
  • Contact customers to prompt payments when not received with stated payment terms.
  • Run and analyze aging reports on assigned accounts.
  • Proactively identify issues and risks within the area of responsibility and support timely resolution by escalating issues to Senior Credit Manager as required.
  • Perform month end responsibilities including reporting and any necessary AR journal entries.
  • Respond to Trade Reference inquiries on existing customers.
  • Provide Credit Specialist duties back up, including Cash Application.
  • Support
Problem Resolution
  • Ongoing review of Payment Terms by customer and enforcements to reduce company's exposure related to those terms.
  • Communicate effectively to assist internal and external customers with questions on their accounts.
  • Work independently to reconcile outstanding balances and assist customers in understanding how to reconcile their accounts or payments.
  • Partner with Sales, Project Managers, and Billing Team to identify necessary corrections and resolve problems which may delay timely customer payments including pricing, tax, shipping, invoicing errors, or purchase order issues.
  • Effectively work with Sales and Sales support staff on all incoming new customer accounts and collection on delinquent invoices
Controls and Compliance
  • Manage assigned accounts to ensure achievement of company's AR goals and expectations.
  • Assist with annual audit requirements as assigned.
  • Keep abreast of credit practices, commercial laws, and general accounting practices and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and current information on all assigned accounts.
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate in process improvements.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years relevant credit and collections experience.
  • Must be familiar with Credit Reporting products and have experience with interpreting credit worthiness.
  • General knowledge and understanding of company billing and manufacturing policies and procedures.
  • Must be a functional user of Microsoft Office, mid-level Excel skills helpful.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within the print industry helpful.
  • Preference given to individuals with hands-on experience with database queries, or advanced MS-Office Suite knowledge.
  • NACM credentials (CBA, or CBF, or CCE)
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to deal calmly and effectively with customers while maintaining and promoting a positive image of Imagine Print Solutions.
  • Excellent and professional organizational and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with customers and colleagues, along with the willingness to be a team player.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive work.

The national pay range for this role is $58,000 - $70,000 per year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
