Job Description The Credit Analyst - Private Credit will evaluate, analyze, execute, and monitor private credit investments. Responsibilities include performing credit analysis, underwriting private credit investments, and building financial models. The analyst will manage the investment process, collaborate with operations and legal teams, prepare reports, and monitor existing investments. The analyst will have a strong academic background, exceptional analytical skills, and effective communication abilities, and will work well within a team. - Evaluate prospective investment opportunities and perform fundamental credit analysis on private credit investments
- Build financial models for analysis of individual companies
- Support the underwriting, due diligence, and closing process
- Prepare memoranda documenting investment opportunity, investment thesis and risk factors
- Work with operations and legal departments as part of the execution process
- Closely monitor the performance of existing investments, including financial analysis of the underlying portfolio companies as well as the aggregate portfolio
- Prepare and present periodic reports and portfolio reviews
- Help with other corporate credit-related investments

- A bachelor's degree with a strong academic background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- One to four years of prior work experience underwriting private credit, high yield, or leveraged loan investments
- A deep understanding of accounting and finance principles, with the ability to independently build financial models to evaluate investment opportunities
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel modeling and financial statement analysis.
