- The Credit & Price Risk Control team directly supports Markets & Securities Services globally.
- Our goal is to establish and maintain a robust 1st Line of Defense control environment and culture to minimize operational risk within the business.
Responsibilities:
- Investigating and resolving Volcker related issues and exceptions by coordinating with trading desks, legal, finance and risk; Metrics production, review, and distribution for internal consumption and regulatory reporting.
- Providing regular management updates and status reports.
- Participation in monthly reviews of Volcker metrics and reporting with in scope desks.
- Coordination of regulatory narrative whereby commentary is constructed, edited and then reviewed by senior management
Requirements:
- Risk and Control is looking for a highly energized individual with knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- The successful candidate will support the Volcker program and requirements under the rule.
- The supplier will provide an SME resource with a strong background in the Regulatory space. Key Responsibilities include:

Qualification:
- 5-8 years relevant experience working in a front office or operations support environment or in a consulting or project management capacity with a similar remit
- Strong financial markets product knowledge across multiple asset classes
- Must possess excellent written and communications skills and show comfort interfacing with senior stakeholders across trading desks, product control, legal, and technology
- Strong investigation and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and ability to work under tight deadline pressures across multiple workstreams concurrently
- Sound understanding of the Volcker Rule
- Adherence to monthly and quarterly deadlines for certain tasks
