As a Credit Manager for McNaughton-McKay's Southern Region, you'll lead the charge in managing credit and collections to fuel business growth, protect assets, and foster lasting partnerships.Key Responsibilities:Take the lead in managing credit limits and driving timely collections, ensuring smooth cash flow.Solve problems, build trust by resolving customer disputes in partnership with sales teams, maintaining our reputation and market share.Be a financial detective as you assess creditworthiness and analyze financial statements for new and existing accounts.Stay ahead of the game by preparing monthly reports and forecasting potential risks, ensuring we stay proactive.Inspire and guide a talented credit team through recruitment, training, and leadership, while driving high performance and continuous improvement.Own the numbers by maintaining top-tier Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) performance, directly impacting the company's financial success.Drive change by collaborating with the extended credit team to enhance processes and maximize efficiency across the region.What You'll Bring:A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.2+ years of leadership experience in a credit-focused role.A strong background in commercial collections, financial analysis, and credit functions (UCC filings, liens, etc.).Outstanding problem-solving skills and a knack for communication.Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools.A self-driven, customer-focused mindset with the ability to lead by example and work hands-on with the team.Reporting To: Regional Finance ManagerDirect Reports: Accounts Receivable StaffTravel: Periodic travel within GA and the CarolinasEEO/AA/M/F/Vet/Disability EmployerStep into a pivotal role where your expertise and leadership will shape financial success and customer relationships across the Southern Region.
