Leading credit-focused hedge fund is seeking an experienced Research Analyst to join their NY team.

Working within a collegial team of highly experienced Investors and Traders, the Research Analyst will:

-Assess Distressed, High Yield and Investment Grade opportunities;

-Deliver insightful fundamental analysis across a broad range of sectors;

-Develop and communicate trade ideas;

-Build and maintain relationships with the street.

The successful candidate will bring:

-5+ years' buy- or sell-side Credit experience;

-Generalist sector exposure;

-Experience in Distressed, High Yield and/or Investment Grade Credit;

-Deep understanding of accounting standards, capital structure, cash flow and financial statement analysis;

-Additional knowledge in Credit Default Swaps required;

-A creative, innovative approach and a contrarian mindset;

-Minimum Bachelors from a top school, Masters preferred;

-CFA designation strongly preferred;

-Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Competitive compensation includes base salary (to $250,000 per annum) + performance-linked bonus + benefits.
