Please review the following job description:

Provide the Risk Committee of the Board of Directors with an independent assessment of credit risk within the loan portfolios by performing individual transaction reviews to assess adherence to Truist credit policies, procedures and banking regulations. Verify the accuracy of the assigned risk rating and assess the quality of credit underwriting and structuring. Identify and elevate exposures that are outside of Truist's lending limits, risk appetite or are not consistent with prudent lending standards.

Please note: to be considered for the role, candidate must be in one of the following locations a minimum of 4 days per week:

* Atlanta, GA

* Alpharetta, GA

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Completes moderately complex to complex credit transactions reviews with only moderate level of oversight.

2. Solid knowledge of credit risk underwriting, transaction structuring, Truist risk appetite, and credit documentation as well as risk management principles and controls and broad-based business practices.

3. Moving towards development of significant knowledge or expertise in an area of credit risk; supports other team members in developing new areas of credit knowledge/skill.

4. Solid understanding of banking and lending practices, financial analysis, accounting rules and credit products.

5. Demonstrates ability to vet differences with business partners on a range of transactions and come to solid and supportable conclusions.

6. Ability to conduct meetings with different partners and management, and follow-up on corrective action.

7. Serves as Reviewer in Charge for Targeted or Horizontal reviews with little oversight.

8. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including interactions with senior management.

9. Mentors junior-level teammates.

10. Attends portfolio level and risk management meetings as needed.

11. Proactively makes recommendations for CRR's continuous improvement and teammate well-being.

12. Lead reporting activities, including in depth analysis of results and determination of trends or themes for specific business units or across the enterprise.

13. Ability to lead training, develop guidance and related governing documentation to produce consistent and thorough analysis.

14. Ability to lead all governance and practices activities, as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.

2. Seven years of risk related work experience.

3. Solid analytical and decision-making skills.

4. Solid organizational, interpersonal, communication, facilitation and negotiation skills.

5. Solid experience and competency in relationship and project management.

6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Commercial Credit Analysis skills

2. Ability to review traditional and specialized CRE exposure
