- We are seeking a Loan Operations Specialist to perform accurate and timely loan transactions, account research, loan maintenance, escrow processing, and DDA deposits.
- The role also involves responding to loan and deposit balance verification requests, processing wire transfers, and ensuring system integrity.
Responsibilities: -
- Perform accurate and timely loan transactions and account research
- Process escrow transactions and DDA deposits using APA system
- Respond to loan and deposit balance verification requests from internal and external parties
- Balance general ledger entries and work with the Accounting department to correct discrepancies
- Review various reports to alleviate potential customer impact issues
- Research requests to a logical conclusion and execute remedial action
- Provide world-class customer service to internal and external customers
- Assist team members with daily workload to ensure timely completion of assignments
- Actively seek opportunities to improve process efficiency and quality
Education Qualification: -
- High School diploma, some college preferred - Strong accounting background
- 1+ years of related job experience with knowledge of bank loan and deposit products
Required Skills: -
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong customer service skills
- Working knowledge of government regulations
- Proficiency in Client systems such as Hogan, ALS, CLS, Loan IQ, and Lotus Notes
- Working knowledge of loan accounting and loan systems
Preferred Qualifications: -
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in systems like Document Direct and KeyView Deluxe
