A rapidly growing, privately held finance company, dedicated to providing working capital funding solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, is seeking an Underwriter to join the team, which play a critical role in evaluating new deal submissions sourced through a network of Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs).

This is a great opportunity to join an expanding team, where you will contribute to assessing corporate creditworthiness, conducting detailed bank statement analyses, and reviewing financial statements and tax returns to make informed funding decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze application data including financial statements, bank statements, credit card statements, AR aging reports, business/personal credit & due diligence platforms
• Verify the applicant's information ensuring documents are valid and fulfil financing application requirements
• Evaluate business applicants credit worthiness in accordance with company underwriting guidelines, across the Reliance portfolio of products
• Work with management to development and maintain credit policy
• Interview prospective customers to understand their funding needs
• Perform accurate analysis of any applicant file with any degree of difficulty and effectively transmit underwriting decisions to relationship managers both orally and in writing
