Position SummaryThe Crib Attendant is primarily responsible for receiving, stocking and conducting inventory on all Plant Crib items as well as working closely with the Crib Supervisor/Plant Supply Chain Manager and/or Plant Supervision and Maintenance on identifying supply needs and inventory adjustments. Additionally, the Crib Attendant will act in a Customer Service capacity, supplying the plant employees with the materials and supplies as requested in the most cost effective and efficient manner. - Receive products into appropriate systems
- Unbox, verify products, label and shelf all items
- Issue crib items and coordinate recovery of those items
- Coordinate with Maintenance and appropriate Plant employees to reconcile discrepancies on part numbers or quantities
- Organize, stock and restock for repairs, rebuilds, new parts and any other Crib items as required
- Daily cycle counting -Inventory crib items and make adjustments as needed based on count discrepancies and location changes
- Conduct general daily housekeeping (i.e.; dust file drawers, sweep floor and aisles, remove trash from crib)
- Break-down, bail and stage cardboard in designated areas as required
- Work on special projects and 5S as assigned
- Utilize hand trucks to move large crib items
- Prepare, end of shift report and send to Supervisor
- FIFO, and track expired products
- Troubleshooting on issues and problems with parts with Maintenance and Crib Supervisor
