The Tri-County Technical College Business and Public Services Division is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Criminal Justice Adjunct Instructors. Reporting to the Public Services Department Head, successful candidates will teach various criminal justice courses using planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate the level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Candidates may also be asked to participate in practical applications using our Force Simulation Lab or other settings. Classes are offered during the day, evening, and at various Tri-County Technical College Campuses. The Spring 2025 Semester begins on January 2nd. This role is part-time onsite position and does not include benefits.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Bachelor's degree and work experience in Criminal Justice or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in criminal justice or related field and at least seven years of related field experience. Possessing a J.D. alone is not sufficient for this position. Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level is preferred. Candidates may possibly meet that preference if they are current SCCJA Certified Basic Instructors.
