Compensation Range: Position Summary:The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Hillsborough Community College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our faculty as a tenure-track instructor. The Department seeks a strong scholar-practitioner who will share faculty enthusiasm for excellence in undergraduate teaching, service to the campus and broader, college-wide communities, and dedication to community partnerships within the region.This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic academic division and to contribute to the development of student success. Required Qualifications:Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of: Criminal Justice, Criminology, Law, Law Enforcement/Corrections, Law Enforcement/Corrections related field, Homeland Security, Crime Scene/Forensics or a Juris Doctorate degree.

Pay Rate:Faculty members will be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the contract with the faculty union
- Grade 2: Master's Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in field $50,421.94
- Grade 2+: Master's Degree with 30 graduate semester hours in the field $53,004.11
- Grade 1: PhD in major field $55,587.43
Up to four salary steps may be applied to the starting salary based on experience.
