Job DetailsJob LocationMonroe Community Mental Health Authority - Monroe, MIPosition TypeFull TimeSalary Range$26.56 - $39.05 HourlyDescriptionThe Crisis Mobile Response Clinician will triage incoming behavioral health/substance use crisis calls and deploy to community settings (i.e., family home, school, shelter, library, etc.) as needed in order to effectively and efficiently manage consumers in crisis. Crisis response may include but not limited to assess, engage, de-escalate, stabilize, safety plan, link and coordinate services, pre-screen, assessments, and hospitalization level of care decisions for Medicaid or indigent consumers of Monroe County based upon state guidelines for hospitalizations. The Crisis Mobile Response Clinician will also be responsible to ride along with law enforcement to assist with de-escalation of a behavioral health/substance use crisis as deemed appropriate. The Clinician will also interface with the community leaders, law enforcement and other providers.The shift for this position is: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday 9:00pm-7:30am. There is a $1.50/hour shift premium. QualificationsBachelor's Level (Pay Grade 8)Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with State of Michigan Licensure (LLBSW, LBSW).Acceptable: Bachelor's Degree in a related Human Services field.Acceptable Degrees: Child Development/Family Relations, Occupational Therapy, Community Mental Health, Chemical Dependence Administration, Physical Therapy, Counseling/Guidance, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Recreational Therapy, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Education, Sociology, Gerontology, Special Education, Health Administration, Speech Pathology , Health Education, etc.One (1+) or more years' experience within the specific consumer population in which the position holds responsibility.Master's Level (Pay Grade 10)Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with State of Michigan Licensure.Master's level such as•Licensed master's Social Work•License Psychologist•Licensed Professional Counselor•Licensed Marriage and Family TherapistThe approved licensures for disciplines identified above include full, limited, and temporary limited licenses.Experience: Two years previous experience with Mentally Ill or Co-Occurring (MI/Substance Abuse) populations preferred. One year experience with children with SED and adults/children with a developmental disability preferred.Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide the appropriate care for the specific clinical needs and ages of the individuals served. Demonstrated knowledge of the clinical needs, symptoms, and behaviors of individuals served, as well as understand the principles of growth and development over the life span; have the ability to assess data reflecting each individual's status; interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each individual's requirements in relation to his or her age-specific/population specific needs; and to provide the care needed by the appropriate age group - (adolescent, adult and geriatric).
