The Leadership Team at Crisis Services is expanding, with an opportunity on the Overnight Shift! Crisis services is located in the newest building on the DuPage County Campus in Wheaton, IL., We provide 24/7 crisis mental health services to County Residents who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or are in need of additional support for symptoms of mental illness. Click Crisis Services to learn more about our program.An individual in this Overnight Crisis Supervisor position will provide shift supervision to staff providing crisis services (call center, mobile crisis, crisis residential, walk-in evaluations) on the Overnight Shift at Crisis Services. The work includes supervision of professional level staff, training and coaching of crisis services staff, and operational oversight of the shift. The role includes on-call responsibilities that rotate weekly among the team of Crisis Supervisors. This full-time position works 40-hours per week: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 9:30PM to 7:30AM. This position is eligible for the overnight shift differential.Can you say benefits ?   • Management of staff and operations on the Overnight Shift, in order to effectively meet client and staff needs during urgent, unpredictable situations.
  • Supervises the work of professional level staff working at Crisis Services, who provide crisis assessment, crisis intervention, and crisis follow-up services (integrated assessment and treatment planning, case management, therapy, linkage to care).
  • Provides training and coaching to staff working with in crisis services.
  • Provides support and consultation to staff regarding unique or complex client situations.
  • Collaborates with other professionals to support integrated care for clients served through crisis programs.
  • Serves as consultant to service providers in the community and ensures community knowledge and access to crisis services.
  • Monitors and analyzes program outcomes and implements quality control processes.
  • Understands and keeps up to date on billing and related financial changes that may impact service delivery.
  • Participates in emergency response activities as assigned
  • Reviews charts and documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Works with a team of supervisors and assists in any necessary coverage to other Crisis services activities
Completion of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field and five years of behavioral health experience which included at least three years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.This position requires current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist or a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
