Job Description:
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full Time!! $1000 Sign-On Bonus for Part Time!! Full-Time at 30 Hours/Week!!Join our Premier Bucks County Crisis Team where you will support members of the community who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. You will provide an initial assessment and work with the clients to establish a plan for them and their family moving forward. This is a fast-paced role with no two shifts ever being the same. This role is embedded in the Doylestown Hospital Emergency Room, located in Doylestown, PA. Available Shifts:
  • Overnight:
    • Week 1:
      • Thursday 6:30 pm - 7:00 am
      • Friday 6:30 pm - 7:00 am
    • Week 2:
      • Thursday 6:30 pm - 7:00 am
      • Saturday 6:30 pm - 7:00 am
  • Daytime:
    • Week 1:
      • Monday | Thursday | Friday 6:30 am - 7:00 pm
    • Week 2:
      • Monday | Friday 6:30 am - 7:00 pm

What You Offer:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, gerontology, criminal justice, theology, nursing or counseling; or be a registered nurse
  • Two years of experience in public or private human services with one year of direct mental health care experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to perform the physical requirement of the job description, with or without accommodation.
What You'll Do:
  • Monitor 24-hour call crisis center
  • Provide triage, support, crisis counseling, information, and referrals
  • Perform face to face level of care assessment and facilitate connections to appropriate level of care
  • Provide face to face crisis counseling and planning
  • Process applications for involuntary commitment and arrange emergency psychiatric evaluation as needed
