Department/Unit: Critical Care Float Pool
Work Shift: 36 hours/week, Nights
Join our dynamic team in the Critical Care Float Pool and gain valuable experience in Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Cardiovascular ICU, and progressive critical care unit. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will have the opportunity to work in all critical care areas at the Region's only Level I trauma center. Additionally, you will gain competencies in Emergency Department care and neuro-progressive care areas.
Hourly Range: $34.65 - $35.69
Your responsibilities will include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments and procedures, and documenting treatment as required. You will also assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care, collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients, and maintain standards of professional nursing. Must hold a current NYS Registered Nurse license, obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and have 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Progressive Care or ICU.
