Education And Credentials ResponsibilitiesCurrent NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse/RN Permit required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of Hire and must be maintained thereafter. RN Critical Care - American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within (1) year of hire/transfer for RNs in Critical Care Units (MICU, Neuro ICU, SICU, CCU, CVICU, ILCU, PICU, etc.), Long Term Monitoring (OCH).
