Position Summary
The Critical Infrastructure Security Engineering position is responsible for the day-to-day interaction and support of the Sales, Operations and Field Service Teams. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual, with strong attention to detail and focus on client service and satisfaction. This individual will need to have solid leadership, organizational and communication skills; as well as the ability to always present a professional image. They will have a strong foundation of experience with networking design and experience with implementing these designs in production environments. They will have in-depth knowledge of network protocols, encryption, and architectures supporting IP-based systems (video, access control and intrusion detection) and their deployment in high-security applications with critical resiliency and hardening requirements. This position creates system designs, technical approval of proposals and is responsible for the accuracy and requirements compliance of projects bid by PSG Global. A high degree of expertise with implementing systems in accordance with industry standards and compliance guidelines is essential. Knowledge of government physical security guidelines and technical standards a plus.
Responsibilities
· Provides system design and engineering support for Sales.
· Provides implementation and deployment support for Field Services.
· Supports preparation of responses to Requests for Quotations, Bid and Proposal submissions, and drawing packages, to include technical content development for items including but not limited to system block diagrams, interconnection drawings, system design approach descriptions and explanations of compliance.
· Participates in site surveys and coordinates with client POCs to ensure formal submittal packages meet or exceed all user-identified requirements.
· Develops network designs, diagrams and develop network solution proposals
· Ensures design compliance with all applicable code, manufacturer, industry and company installation and safety standards.
· Develops Statements of Work based upon PSG templates, customer-issued project descriptions, capabilities requirements and site survey information.
· Performs other tasks as needed to facilitate on site project implementations and product sales.
· Develops project Bills of Material and costing estimates to support equipment procurements.
· Develops statements of work and subcontracts for needed support services.
· Utilizes PSG-standard equipment configurations to create system bills of materials for installation and maintenance of security, access control and video systems.
· Participates with Operations Manager, Project Managers and Field Service to kick off projects, answer questions and explain specific project design aspects and requirements to team. Remains engaged with team post kick-off to resolve any technical hurdles that arise.
· Coordinates with Operations to ensure that PSG master part number lists remain current, identifies discontinued parts for removal from lists and recommend suitable replacement items.
· Advises Engineering and Sales staff of new and/or developing requirements and how they may affect current business and product operations.
· Document, track, and provide feedback to the team on any QA issues found, patterns of problems, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications and Credentials
· Installing and configuring network equipment
· Maintaining computer networks including, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware
· Configuring firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected
· Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for all systems
· Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management
· Implementing disaster recovery procedures
· Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
· Mentoring and training other members on the Field Service team
· Ability to read and interpret engineered systems drawings and technical requirements documents
· Ability to obtain original equipment manufacturer training and certification on various systems
· Ability to prioritize work, act decisively and complete tasks under time constraints
· Strong grasp of physical security system design parameters and deployment concepts
· Demonstrated expertise of government compliance and regulatory standards and guidelines for security systems

Other Minimum Qualifications
· Available for up to 30% travel
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record
· Able to pass a background investigation for government site access
· Maintain a current US passport
Security Clearance
· Able to obtain a minimum SECRET security clearance
Education Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related technical field; or 7+ years of demonstrated successful performance and promotion in this technical job field
