Position Summary
The CRM Specialist/Slate Administrator will support core admissions operations, data management, and enrollment marketing functions primarily within our Slate instance. This position will be a key collaborator with admissions, marketing, and program staff across the educational enterprise and will serve as a subject matter expert in leveraging Slate's various capabilities to streamline and maximize new student recruitment initiatives and admissions operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically minded, and outcome-driven along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
As the Slate administrator, the position will perform a variety of tasks to develop efficient solutions that facilitate the business operations in the Office of Admissions and Enrollment, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining processes and CRM functionality. This position will be critical in producing a quality, student-centered experience.

Essential Duties:
- Maintain and develop Admissions CRM (Slate), including resolving all troubleshooting issues.
- Lead the annual application updates and prepare the Slate instance for new cycles across all degree programs, ensuring optimal functioning of the admissions application for all stakeholders.
- Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and CRM optimizations.
- Implement and maintain Slate hosted applications, checklists, payments, and materials
- Build and implement standard CRM functions including but not limited to: Forms, Communication Flows, Events, Queries/Reports, Records and Portals.
- Investigate and configure Slate forms, communications, events, interviews, portals, workflows, automations, queries, and reports.
- Support recruitment efforts by understanding the data maintained in Slate CRM, Colleague SIS, and third-party vendors and preserve the integrity of data.
- Collaborate with Assistant Director of Communications and Enrollment Marketing to schedule recurring communications and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns through reports.
- Build and maintain student portals and forms to ensure a positive user experience throughout the application and enrollment cycle.
- Keep up to date on and recommend use of latest Slate features and make recommendations on ways to leverage Slate in specific program recruitment
- Meet with admissions staff to determine and implement strategies to optimize the CRM to improve recruitment practices.
- Responsible for training admissions and program staff on Slate CRM functionality, including the development and maintenance of training and business process documentation.
- Fulfill security requests and audits for Slate CRM for admissions staff including users across the university.

Required Education and Experience:
- Baccalaureate degree in computer systems, engineering, communications, business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience with all modules and features of the Technolutions Slate CRM.
- Experience working in a graduate enrollment management environment.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Responsible for a comprehensive knowledge of the Slate CRM (structures, tables, forms, applications, security, flow of data across processes/units, including importing prospect names and building audiences for communication planning, maintaining user profiles, etc.). This includes training and providing technical support for all processes, analyzing and solving technical issues, responding to ad hoc information requests, and developing and maintaining written procedures for all processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in communications or student development theory.
- 5-7 years of experience with all modules and features of the Technolutions Slate CRM.
- Prior work in the health professions.
- Knowledge of RFU's academic programs, distinguishing features, and brand identity.
