YOUR ROLE: As a Cross-Collaboration Project Specialist, you will manage multiple customer projects with a focus on quality and timeliness. You will be the central communication point between cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, Operations, External Vendors, and clients, ensuring projects meet client and operational objectives.

YOUR EXPERIENCE: We seek candidates with strong communication skills and a proven track record of multi-tasking and adapting to changing priorities. Ideal candidates will have experience in project management, scientific laboratory skills, and working with international clients.

JOB OBJECTIVE: To support diverse roles across different departments at Promega, leveraging adaptable and agile capabilities to respond to immediate and urgent business needs within the organization.CORE DUTIES:1. Plan meaningful collaborations with project leads, aligning on project deliverables and expected outcomes with the ability to rapidly adapt to changing needs.2. Build strong rapport with all team members as well as other departments within the company; foster trust-based relationships.3. Report out to stakeholders on project deliverables to ensure information transparency within the project.4. Integrate generative AI-tools into projects.5. Attend technical meetings and ensure key stakeholders receive critical updates.6. Vet all decisions and project timelines through appropriate stakeholder consultations.7. Oversee the contract review process to ensure appropriate stakeholder involvement.8. Develop and implement new processes, as appropriate. Work with key stakeholders to ensure any process meets multi-departmental needs.9. Maintain up-to-date tracking systems or metrics for all project deliverables.10. Provide comprehensive contract summaries to designated approvers.11. Manage timely payment of invoices and contribute to monthly cash flow discussions.12. Monitor project timelines for accuracy and communicate necessary adjustments to internal stakeholders.13. Participate actively in commercialization discussions to align project outcomes with market expectations.14. Ensure technical transfer to Promega is executed on schedule and meets all specified requirements.15. Utilize project management skills to champion and manage execution of activities, ensuring products meet customer requirements.16. Build relationships with internal and external customers to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.17. Write, review, and revise documentation to support creation and maintenance of projects as required by quality systems18. Ability and desire to use AI for process efficiencies and process improvements.19. Assist in the execution of specific projects as required and assigned.20. Understands and complies with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.KEY QUALIFICATIONS: 1. BA/BS required, MS/PhD preferred in a chemistry discipline.2. Previous experience working within multiple groups or on many projects/technologies.3. Broad knowledge of cGMP and ISO process development, scale-up, and technical transfer.4. Knowledge of organic chemistry, biochemical, medicinal chemistry studies, and common methodologies, with a focus in biochemistry, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and/or pharmacology.5. Ability to review, collect, assess, and summarize scientific and other complex data and information related to drug development and research activities.6. Comfortable working under pressure.7. Proficiency in data summarization and presentation.8. Enjoys working within a team with diverse talents, personalities, and levels of scientific expertise/experience.9. Experience with Artificial Intelligence tools.10. Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Previous experience in a similar role or industry.2. Demonstrate an interest in psychedelic research and psychedelic therapies.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 1. Ability to remain stationary for several hours at a time.2. Ability to move between buildings for meetings.3. Ability to move objects up to 20 pounds.4. Ability to use a computer/Microsoft Office applications.
